SENIOR COMMAND AND STAFF COURSE 10 OFFICIAL OPENING
On 26 July 2021, Senior Command and Staff Course (SCSC 10) was officially opened at College Campus in Nyakinama-Musanze. The Course is intended to develop students’ capability to critically and analytically conceptualize security issues, so as to make timely and rational decisions in the contemporary volatile and complex operating environment.
The current cohort is composed of 48 students (31 national and 17 allied students). Two of the national students are senior police officers from Rwanda National Police (RNP). Of the 46 military officers, 3 are females. The 17 allied students are from 10 countries, namely: Botswana, Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Nigeria, Senegal, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia.
The official opening was presided over by the RDFCSC Commandant Brig Gen Didas Ndahiro. The Commandant urged students to work hard, read extensively and research exhaustively to make the best out of the Course. He encouraged the students the opportunity to share their wealth of knowledge and experiences; and build enduring relationships.
