NIGERIA INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION
On 1 October 2021, the RDFCSC fraternity joined two students from the Nigeria Defence Force (NAF) to celebrate the Independence of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The 2 students Maj Abdulrahman MODIBBO and Lt Cdr Yusuf ABDULKAREEM are attending SCSC 10 at the RDFCSC as part of the exchange programme between the two sister Armies. The Independence Day of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is a national holiday observed on 1 October of every year. The date commemorates Nigeria’s Independence from the United Kingdom on 1 October 1960. The occasion was graced by the Commandant RDFCSC, Brig Gen Didas NDAHIRO. The Comdt paid homage to the independence forebearers dared to dream and their vision inspired the independence movement.
