GRADUATION OF MIDDLE-LEVEL COMMANDERS AND STAFF OFFICERS’ SEMINAR INTAKE 20 AT GACURABWENGE TRAINING CENTRE

On 13th Feb 25, Rwanda Defence Force (RDF) Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), Gen MK Mubarakh, today presided over the closing of a month-long Middle-level Commanders and Staff Seminar at Gacurabwenge Training Centre. The seminar, which commenced on January 13th 2025, comprised 19 Senior Officers and 40 Junior Officers drawn from various RDF formations and units. The seminar tackled many issues pertaining to tactics, techniques and procedures as applied to military operations; leadership, command and management of the force; contemporary security dynamics and challenges as well as the strategies to mitigate them.




In his remarks, the CDS congratulated the seminar participants for the dedicated opportunity to delve into actionable insights on military operations. He urged them to use the acquired knowledge and experience to deal with current and future security challenges, while most importantly, remaining disciplined and resolute to safeguard our national sovereignty and territorial integrity, as mandated by the constitution.
