Tactical Exercise Without Troops (TEWTs) for JCSC 11conducted from 17 to 22 August 2018

Students of JCSC 11 conducted a Defensive operation TEWT nicknamed RINDA INKIKO from 17 to 22 August 2018.

The exercise started with model discussions in the College on 21 August 2018 followed by an outdoor application in the general area of KABALI - RUBAVU District.

The aim of the exercise RINDA INKIKO was to practice students of JCSC 11 about the mechanism of planning and conducting defensive operations at the Bde level of command using a sand model and the actual ground.

The objectives were to carry out Combat Estimate and through an understanding of the Defence plan (sound and workable), to discuss ConOps and employment of SP Arms at the Bde level, understanding of the Manoeuvrist Approach to Warfare and Mission Command also understand and apply battle procedures and time analysis.


The Exercise was followed by the DS of JCSC and the Chief Instructor until the end.
