On arrival, she was received by the Commandant Brig Gen Charles Karamba. She paid a brief courtesy call to his office before proceeding to the lecture.
The lecture was on the EAC Integration, prospects, and challenges. She took the class through the integration stages up to political federation which is the final stage.

Ambassador Valentine Rugwabiza, is the Minister of the Ministry of East African Community appointed on July 24, 2014. She has been the Chief Executive Officer of the Rwanda Development Board and a cabinet member. She has extensive experience in both the public and private sectors where she held senior management positions. Students expressed their satisfaction by saying that they are better informed about the integration process now than ever before, in appreciation of a lecture competently delivered.

The Commandant also had an opportunity to appreciate her lecture by presenting her with the CollegeToken, which is a culture of the College.

The minister had a group photo with the students and the Directing Staff, after which she planted a tree in the College Gardens.

She was finally conducted around the college premises by the Commandant before her departure.
