UGANDA’S INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS
On 9 October 2021, the RDFCSC fraternity joined one Directing Staff (DS) and two students from the Uganda Peoples’ Defence Force (UPDF) to celebrate the Independence of the Republic of Uganda. The 3 senior officers are Lt Col DO MUNYUA (DS), Lt Col Jamadah MAWEJJE and Lt Col Wilfred Tokuma ADENGO are part of the exchange programme between the two sister Armies.
The Independence Day commemorates Uganda’s Independence from the United Kingdom on 9 October 1962. The 59th Ugandan Independence Day anniversary celebrations is being celebrated under the theme “Celebrating Our 59th Independence Day as We Secure Our Future Through National Mindset Change”.
The occasion was graced by the Senior Course Coordinator, Lt Col Victor AKILI on behalf of the College Commandant Brig Gen Didas NDAHIRO. The Course Coordinator congratulated Ugandans for consolidating and defending their national independence and wished the senior officers happy 59th Independence Day Anniversary celebrations.
