JUNIOR COMMAND AND STAFF COURSE 05/14 GRADUATION ON 26 FEB 2015
Junior Command and Staff Course (JCSC)05/14 that was officially opened on 8 Sep 14 by the Comdt RDF Command and Staff College ended on 26 Feb 15.

The course that aims at equipping selected officers with knowledge and skills to perform both command and staff responsibilities at tactical and operational levels was officially closed by RDF Chief of Defence Staff Gen Patrick NYAMVUMBA.

In his welcome remarks, the Comdt RDFCSC Brig Gen Charles KARAMBA reminded the audience of the course objectives and he was happy to announce that the set objectives were well achieved. All the 36 student officers got the pass mark and above (>50%). Success was due to high standards of discipline, cooperation among students, and the College and Defence HQ support.

The CDS expressed his appreciation to the College Commandant and the staff who have put a lot of effort into making the course successful. He congratulated the graduates for having completed the course that prepares them for further training and contributes to the professionalization of RDF as per constitutional missions. He reiterated the importance of training in the transformation of our nation.

The overall best student who managed also to write the best Commandant paper and the 2nd best student were given awards by the Guest of Honour.

After the closing remarks by the CDS, group photos were taken among them one with the students’ spouses.

The ceremony ended with the Guest of Honor sharing with the graduates and guests a cocktail and finally signing the Visitors’ book.
