TACTICAL EXERCISE WITHOUT TROOPS (TEWTs) FOR JCSC 08 CONDUCTED IN RUBAVU DISTRICT ON 30 AUGUST 2016
Term One of the JCSC Training Programme remains an intense exercise period.
Students of JCSC 08 conducted a Defence TEWTs nicknamed RINDA INKIKO from 26 to 30 August 2016.
RINDA INKIKO started with a model discussion on 29 August 2016 followed by an outdoor application in the general area of KABALI – RUBAVU District on 30 August 2016.
The purpose of the exercise was to teach students of JCSC 08 about the mechanisms of planning and conducting a defensive operation at the Bde level of command.
Students had to climb hills to find good vantage points
The College Chief Instructor closely followed the conduct of the exercise.
Students are busy working on the exercise requirements in the field.
