The Sri Lanka Defence Services Command and Staff College (SDSCSC) visited Rwanda Defence Force Command and Staff College (RDFCSC) on 6 August 2018

A delegation of 19 officers, comprising students and College Staff from the Sri Lanka Defence Services Command and Staff College led by Group Captain CHANDIMA ALWIS visited Rwanda Defence Force Command and Staff College (RDFCSC) on 6 August 2018. The visit was part of a two weeks study tour to Rwanda from 2 to 14 August 2018, aiming at learning about Rwandan culture and RDF military doctrine and also exchanging military knowledge, developing their future commanders and staff officers for the future militaries.

Upon their arrival, the SDSCSC delegation was welcomed by RDFCSC General Coordinator Col Frederick ITANGAYENDA on behalf of Commandant.

The visiting delegation was briefed on the vision, mission and organization of RDFCSC and more specifically, the Junior and Senior Command and Staff Courses.

The delegation was offered a guided tour of the college facilities


The visit also included the signing of the visitors’ book and sharing tokens of appreciation.
