39 Officers Graduate from Junior Command and Staff Course on 28 March 2018

The course comprises 39 students whose 37 RDF officers in the ranks of Lieutenant Colonel, Major and Captain, including 2 female officers, and 2 Rwanda National Police officers; graduated from Junior Command and Staff Course 10 at RDF Command and Staff College, in Musanze District

On behalf of the RDF Chief of Defence Staff, the graduation ceremony was presided over by the Commandant of RDF Command and Staff College, Maj Gen J. Bosco Kazura.

39 GRADUATES FROM JUNIOR COMMAND AND STAFF COURSE 10

The Chief Instructor of the College, Col J Chrysostom NGENDAHIMANA reported that the graduates successfully completed training modules that included force organization, military intelligence, tactics, logistics, land and air operations, peace support operations, routine and operation service writing, communication skills among others.

Maj Ephrem NGOGA and Maj Protegene DUSABE emerged as the overall best student and the second overall best student respectively, while Maj Francis GATARE won the best Commandant’s Paper. The Paper is an academic final research work that every student must produce in order to successfully complete the JCSC. From its inception, the college has graduated 363 students of the Junior Command and Staff level.

The ceremony was attended by RDF Senior Officers and RNP Officers, spouses and family relatives of graduates as well as Local Authorities.

The course ran for 18 weeks from 18 November 2017 to 28 March 2018.
