The Junior Command and Staff Course (JCSC) 08 Study Tour to Rubavu District on 23 September 2016
From RDFCSC Nyakinama, students of JCSC 08, accompanied by their Directing Staff, visited Pfunda Tea Company and BRALIRWA Ltd, to familiarize themselves with economic and investment activities that take place in Rubavu District.
On arrival at Pfunda Tea Company, the visiting delegation was welcomed by the General Manager, Mr. Surender Hjijaria.
From Pfunda, the delegation proceeded to BRALIRWA Ltd.
In both companies, the JCSC delegation was briefed on the functions and organization of these factories and went through a guided tour of their facilities.
The visit to Pfunda Tea Company and BRALIRWA Ltd allowed students to have firsthand information on their contribution to Rwanda’s economy, as one of the elements of national power.
