BOTSWANA AND NIGERIA INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION
On October 3rd 2023,
the RDFCSC fraternity celebrated the 57th Independence Day of Botswana and the 63rd Independence Day of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The celebration was attended by students of SCSC 12, faculty members, and college staff
Botswana’s Independence Day, also known as Boipusa, is celebrated annually on September 30th to commemorate Botswana’s Declaration of Independence from the United Kingdom on September 30th, 1966. Nigeria’s Independence Day is celebrated every year on October 1st to commemorate its independence from the United Kingdom on October 1st, 1960.
The Commandant RDFCSC, Brig Gen Andrew NYAMVUMBA, graced the occasion and paid homage to the forebearers of independence whose vision inspired the independence movement.
