Junior Command and Staff Course (JCSC) 11 Officially Opened on 25 June 2018

The JCSC 11 comprised of 37 RDF officers in the ranks of major and captain, inclusive are 3 female RDF officers, and 2 Rwanda National Police officers; making a total of 39. The course was officially opened on Monday 25 June 2018.

On behalf of the Commandant of RDF Command and Staff College, the course was officially opened by the Chief Instructor; Col J Chrysostome Ngendahimana. The ceremony was attended by Directing Staff and students.
The JCSC improves the officers command and staff competencies by giving them prerequisite attitude, knowledge and skills at the tactical level. It also prepares them for higher military courses such as the Senior Command and Staff Course and this course runs for 17 weeks.
