Zambia Defence Service Command and Staff College delegation visit, 01 October 2014
Zambia Defence Service Command and Staff College delegation of 23 Senior Officers that have been in Rwanda on a regional study tour since 27 September 2014 visited Rwanda Defence Force Command and Staff College on 1 October 2014.



After a courtesy call to the Commandant, they were given a brief by the Chief Instructor Lt Col Jeanot Ruhunga on how the College executes its mission and the training support facilities the College has.


The visiting delegation then conducted a guided Study tour of the College.

This culminated in an interactive reception that presented an opportunity to share military-to-military experience and appreciate individual and collective contributions to professional growth and regional security.

Both the Commandant Brig Gen Karamba and Col Choongo Geoffrey Zyeele who is leading the Zambian delegation observed that this visit will go a long way towards sharing lessons and enhancing military cooperation. Col Choongo said that he is amazed by the speed of Rwanda’s post-genocide recovery and development. He also appreciated the contribution of the RDF in the process.
