ZAMBIA’S 57TH INDEPENDENCE ANNIVERSARY
On 25 October 2021, the RDFCSC fraternity joined two students from the Zambia Defence Force (ZDF) to celebrate the Independence of the Republic of Zambia. The 2 senior officers are Lt Col Lt Col Webster MUTALE and Maj Bervyn GONDWE who are attending Senior Command and Staff Course (SCSC 10) as part of the exchange programme between the 2 sister Armies.
The Independence Day commemorates Zambia’s Independence from the United Kingdom on 24 October 1964. The 57th Zambian Independence Day anniversary celebrations is being celebrated under the theme “Celebrating a New Dawn anchored on Good Governance, National Unity and Development”.
The occasion was graced by the College Commandant Brig Gen Didas NDAHIRO. The Commandant congratulated Zambians for consolidating and defending their national independence and wished the senior officers and their compatriots a happy 57th Independence Day Anniversary celebrations.
