On 16 August 2023, a delegation from the University of Rwanda (UR) led by the Vice-Chancellor (VC) Dr. Kayihura Muganga Didas, visited Rwanda Defence Force Command and Staff College (RDFCSC) to benchmark on the achievements made by the College towards becoming a smart training institution. arrival at the College, the delegation of 40 people was welcomed by the College Deputy Commandant Col JC Ngendahimana who later briefed them on the college activities, emphasizing on the “Smart College” infrastructure development and progress. After the brief, the visitors toured the college premises and facilities.

In his remarks after the tour, the UR VC thanked the RDFCSC leadership for the warm reception, brief and guided tour. He reiterated the need to keep a good partnership between the two learning institutions and promised that lessons learnt from RDFCSC digitalization is an eye opener to UR. He challenged his team to go and start the process to implement a similar project.

The hectic visit concluded with the exchange of gifts, the signing of the visitor’s book, and finally the group photo.
