RWANDA DEFENCE FORCE COMMAND AND STAFF COLLEGE OPENS SENIOR COMMAND AND STAFF COURSE INTAKE 15

On Monday, 20th July 2026, the Rwanda Defence Force Command and Staff College (RDFCSC) officially opened the one-year Senior Command and Staff Course (SCSC) intake 15.

This academic year of SCSC15 brings together 110 senior officers, the course comprised 78 students from RDF, 2 students from Rwanda National Police (RNP), 3 students from Rwanda Correctional Services (RCS), and 27 Allied students from 22 countries, namely: Botswana, Benin, Central African Republic, Ethiopia, Egypt, France, Guinea, Ghana, Kenya, Mozambique, Malawi, Morocco, Mali, Nigeria, Pakistan, Rwanda, South Sudan, Somalia, Senegal, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zambia.

On behalf of the RDF leadership and the entire College community, and in his role as Deputy Commandant & Chief Instructor (Dy Comdt & CI), Brig Gen JC NGENDAHIMANA warmly welcomed the allied and national student officers at RDFCSC. He congratulated them on their nomination to attend this prestigious course, emphasizing that their selection reflects dedication, professionalism, and potential for greater leadership responsibilities.

Brig Gen JC NGENDAHIMANA, the Dy Comdt & CI stated: “First and foremost, I congratulate each one of you on your nomination to attend this prestigious course. Your selection is a recognition of your dedication, professionalism, and potential to assume greater leadership responsibility within your respective armed forces and institutions. You should therefore take pride in this achievement while appreciating that comes with it. I wish you all every success throughout the SCSC 15. I am confident that, through hard work, discipline, and teamwork, you will successfully complete this programme and return to your respective services better prepared to meet the challenges of higher command and leadership.”

In his closing remarks, he expressed gratitude to the entire RDFCSC fraternity for their dedication and hard work in preparing for the commencement of this course.
