On 3^rd August 2026, the Rwanda Defence Force Command and Staff College (RDFCSC) fraternity celebrated the 66^th Independence Day of the Republic of Benin. The event was attended by students of Senior Command and Staff Course (SCSC) 15, faculty members, and college staff. 

The ceremony was presided over by the Course Coordinator of Professional Courses and Head of the Research & Development Department, Col Lausanne Ingabire NSENGIMANA. On behalf of the Deputy Commandant and Chief Instructor (Dy Comdt & CI) and the entire College fraternity, she congratulated Maj Affomai Godson ADOLPHE, who proudly represents Benin in SCSC 15, on the 66^th Independence Day of his homeland. She noted that while Benin’s Independence Day is officially commemorated on 1^st August, the College observed it on 3^rd August 2026 as the date fell on a weekend.

In her remarks, she emphasized that the participation of Maj Affomai Godson ADOLPHE enriches the exchange of professional knowledge, operational experience, and cultural understanding among members of the course. “Such interactions strengthen interoperability, deepen mutual understanding, and nurture enduring friendships that are essential to addressing today’s complex security challenges,” she said.

Speaking on behalf of the Beninese fraternity at the College, Maj Affomai Godson ADOLPHE expressed his sincere appreciation to the RDFCSC leadership for making it possible for him to celebrate this significant day.
