RDFCSC COMMEMORATES THE 68TH INDEPENDENCE DAY OF THE REPUBLIC OF GUINEA
On 2 October 2026, the Rwanda Defence Force Command and Staff College (RDFCSC) fraternity celebrated the 68th Independence Day of the Republic of Guinea. The event was attended by students of Senior Command and Staff Course (SCSC) 15, faculty members, University of Rwanda lecturers, and college staff.
The occasion was presided over by the Deputy Commandant and Chief Instructor (Dy Comdt & CI), Brig Gen Jean Chrysostome Ngendahimana. On behalf of the college fraternity, he congratulated Major Soriba Nabe, who proudly represents Guinea in Senior Command and Staff Course 15, on the 68th Independence Day of his homeland.
In his remarks, the Dy Comdt & CI stated: “Rwanda and Guinea share a deep friendship rooted in continental solidarity.” He added that the presence of Major Soriba Nabe at the college strengthens the bond between the Rwanda Defence Force and the Guinean Armed Forces, while advancing defence cooperation across Africa.
Speaking on behalf of the Republic of Guinea at the college, Major Soriba Nabe concluded by thanking the Rwanda Defence Force, the college faculty, and fellow students for hosting the event and celebrating alongside the Republic of Guinea.
Long live the Republic of Guinea! Long live the Republic of Rwanda! Long live African unity! And long live our brotherhood!
