THE RWANDA DEFENCE COMMAND AND STAFF COLLEGE SECURITY SYMPOSIUM 2026 TOOK PLACE AT RWANDA MILITARY ACADEMY GAKO
The National Security Symposium 2026 on the theme :" Contemporary African Security Landscape” brought together security leaders, academics, and key stakeholders for critical discussions on the two topics : 1. External Interference in African Affairs: Challenges and the Way Forward 2. Natural Resources and Sustainable Development: Strategic Opportunities for Africa.
The annual symposium is jointly organised by the Rwanda Defence Force Command and Staff College(RDFCSC) in collaboration with the University of Rwanda. It aims to help Senior Command and Staff Course 14(SCSC 14) students deepen their understanding of contemporary security challenges facing Africa, while also enhancing their awareness and preparedness to respond to future complex security threats.
