JUNIOR COMMAND AND STAFF COURSE INTAKE 26 GRADUATED IN MUSANZE DISTRICT

On 30 April 2026, a total of 74 officers comprising of 70 from the Rwanda Defence Force (RDF), 2 from the Rwanda National Police (RNP), and 2 from the Rwanda Correctional Service (RCS) completed the 22-week Junior Command and Staff Course intake 26 (JCSC 26) at the Rwanda Defence Force Command and Staff College (RDFCSC) in Nyakinama, Musanze District. The graduation ceremony was presided over by the RDF Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General MK Mubarakh.

The course equipped officers with the vital knowledge, skills, and competencies required to perform mid-level command and staff roles in the military. It also broadened their leadership and management skills at the tactical level.

The CDS congratulated the graduates for their remarkable achievement. He also emphasized that: “The training not only sharpens your military capabilities but also forges your leadership qualities essential for contributing to our nation's broader aspirations. Your roles are pivotal in promoting positive change and upholding the values of patriotism, integrity, and commitment in an increasingly complex global landscape.”

The graduation ceremony was presided over by the RDF CDS, Gen MK Mubarakh

The Commandant of the RDFCSC, Brigadier General Andrew Nyamvumba, commended the graduates for their exceptional discipline, responding with diligence, resilience, integrity, and dedication throughout the 22-week course. He urged them to carry forward the same spirit of hard work, discipline, commitment, and professionalism into their future assignments.

The pass-out ceremony was graced by Generals and senior officers from the RDF, RNP and RCS and was attended by the spouses, parents, friends, relatives of the graduates, as well as religious leaders and local authorities from the Northern Province.
