JCSC05 Static Map Reading On 18 September 2014.
Junior Command and Staff Course 05 that was officially opened by the College commandant on 9 September 2014 is in its second week. It conducted its first outdoor exercise in the general area of Gataraga –Musanze District on 18 September 2014.
The purpose of the exercise was to practice the students on the interpretation of the map as a tool in the planning and conduct of military operations at the tactical level of warfighting.

Students had to climb hills to find good vantage point

The College Commandant was briefed on the conduct of the exercise in the field by the Sponsor DS and later followed the conduct of the exercise up to the end.
