Graduation Dinner for Senior Command and Staff Course (SCSC) 06 on 1st June 2018

On 1 June 2018, the Rwanda Defense Force Command and Staff College (RDFCSC) organized a graduation dinner for students of Senior Command and Staff Course 06, the college leadership, faculty staff and their respective spouses. It was a special evening and a moment to enjoy for the whole college fraternity, students and staff alike and together with their beloved ones, after a yearlong successful training.

Maj Gen JB KAZURA the Commandant welcomed the invited guests to the celebration and expressed gratitude to all of them for choosing to join the college faculty and students on that evening. The Guest of Honour for the occasion was the RDF Army Chief of Staff (ACOS), Lt Gen Jacques MUSEMAKWELI.



Other distinguished guests to the graduation dinner included Governor of Northern Province, 2 Div Commander, some Chief Js from RDF HQ, Region Reserve Force Commander Northern Province, Director Rwanda Peace Academy, RDF Spokesperson, representative of Commandant of National Police College, spouses and family relatives of both students and faculty.

On behalf of the CDS RDF, the Army Chief of Staff, Lt Gen Jacques Musemakweli, took opportunity to extend greetings, well wishes, and congratulations to the SCSC 06 students for ending their military prestigious course on a high note. He commended their effort, resilience, fortitude and achievements while on the course and most of all their discipline.

On behalf of the SCSC 06 students, Maj C BATUNZI represented all Students in general and Maj AT OMONDI for allied students, thanked the college fraternity for the knowledge and experience gained along the course.

Lt Col S KAYIGUMIRE (Rwanda), Lt Col P MUCHAYA with Maj CH MWEMBA (Zambia), Maj DK KORSAH (Ghana), Maj EP LEVOYO and Maj VR FAUSTINE (Tanzania) presented various tokens of appreciation to the College and RDF Leadership.

The purpose of the dinner was to share with one another the great joy of having concluded yet another intake of SCSC. Everyone was encouraged to join and celebrate the great achievement, but most importantly have fun with colleagues and loved ones.

The dinner was graced by the Army Band and the cultural troupe “Inganzo Ngali” who put up an exciting performance.
