JUNIOR COMMAND AND STAFF COURSE (JCSC) 24 CONDUCTED TACTICAL EXERCISES WITHOUT TROOPS (TEWTS)

The students of Junior Command and Staff Course (JCSC) 24 conducted various outdoor exercises from 9^th to 29^th January 2025. These exercises included Defensive Operations Tactical Exercise without Troops (TEWTs) code-named RINDA INKIKO, which took place from 9^th to 15^th January 2025 in the general area KANZENZE; and subsequently, the Offensive Operations TEWTs nicknamed NESHA UMWANZI from 22^nd to 29^thJanuary 2025 in the same general area of KANZENZE. The 2 Exercises aimed at practicing students of JCSC 24 on the planning and conduct of both defensive and offensive operations at Bde level Comd.

The Exercises were set at Bde Gp level, where students practiced as Bde Gp Comdrs & Staff.

The planning & conduct of both exercises were done using the manoeuvrist approach to operations.

Both exercises ended with debrief sessions by DS sponsors, Course Coordinator and Deputy Comdt & CI; followed by the Commandant who gave his concluding remarks.
